Content Removal

Last updated: 3 May 2026

Aura is operated by Nervous Group LLP. We respect intellectual-property rights and personal-image rights and provide a clear procedure to request that content be removed from the Service.

This policy applies to:

  • copyright infringement (including notice-and-takedown under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act in the United States and equivalent UK / EU regimes);
  • non-consensual intimate imagery and image-based sexual abuse;
  • content that depicts a real person without their consent;
  • content that violates our Safety Policy (e.g. content alleged to depict a minor).

How to request removal

Send a written notice to dmca@aura4you.io containing all of the following:

  1. Your full legal name and contact details (email, postal address, phone if available).
  2. A clear description of the content you want removed, including the URL or in-app location (route, character, feed item, message identifier where possible).
  3. The legal basis for removal:
    • For copyright: a description of the copyrighted work you own and a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
    • For personal-image rights or non-consensual imagery: a statement that you (or the person depicted, if you are acting on their behalf) did not consent to the depiction or its publication.
    • For Safety Policy violations: a description of which policy rule the content violates and any context that supports your report.
  4. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate, and (for copyright notices) a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent, or the law.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification.

How we handle a request

  • We acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
  • We make a substantive decision within 7 calendar days. Complex requests may take longer; we will tell you if so.
  • If we agree the content should be removed, we remove or disable access to it and notify the user who created or uploaded it.
  • If we do not remove the content we will explain why and how to escalate.

Counter-notice

If you uploaded content that has been removed and you believe the removal was a mistake, send a counter-notice to dmca@aura4you.io within 30 days containing:

  1. Your name and contact details.
  2. Identification of the removed content.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error.
  4. Consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for purposes of resolving the dispute.
  5. Your signature.

A valid counter-notice will be forwarded to the original complainant. Unless they file a court action within 14 days the content may be restored.

Repeat-infringer policy

We terminate accounts that are subject to repeated valid removal notices.
